I had completely forgotten about this little song until I started collecting the rest of the music a couple of days ago. As such, I hadn't thought I'd needed to cast Cinderella's mother and didn't have anypony planned. Still, as last minute choices go, Celestia isn't bad. She's kind hearted, plus I don't use her nearly enough. Cinderella, on the other hand, was a bit of a minor problem. See, I was really hoping to go with casting choices I'd using in the past, as a cool little reference. But Rarity had played parts that would overlap if I did that, having been both Cinderella and Rapunzel's mother in my sets. Rarity didn't really fit this Cinderella anyway. At least for me she came off too wishy-washy in this version, frequently acting hesitant and reserved. In the end Fluttershy make a more natural fit for this version of the character, but it was a shame I couldn't use my previous casts for everything. And this was FAR from the hardest choices I had to make in this set... I do not own My Little Pony, but if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like no-thing's changed at all? I do not own Disney, but if you close your ey-eyes, do it almost feel like we've been here befo-ore?
