(Description for Solution) A strange setting that makes regions want to stick together and also move along with other regions. It's cute I guess, but it really messes up workflow and the structure of the project. So if anyone knows if this is just an accidental setting that was turned on, then I would like some help with this, thank you. SOLVED (6/9/16) : Thank you to Edgar Rothermich for the solution via a response on my post of the problem on Official Apple Support in the Logic forums. https://discussions.apple.com/message/30327529?ac_cid=op123456#30327529 There is a setting in the Drag menu above the "Main" window (In the video, both Drag and Snap are in that "Gear" button above the Region area) called "Shuffle L" and "Shuffle R" that causes this. To turn it off, you choose either "Overlap" or "No Overlap", referring to Region behavior.
