It's been a long time since I finished a proper orchestral track, and just like my track Freedom Flights, this one was just sitting around and waiting to be finished in 2015.

So Twily's got her new library/castle, and this artwork by Huussii got me thinking of her as a wizard of time. Books are timeless logs of knowledge; a tree can live for thousands of years; she finished writing ancient Starswirl's spell; and she more or less has that time travel spell from "It's About Time". Now she's Alicorn, and can live forever. What a concept. (The change of tempos in the track is a nod to this, especially the accelerando at 3:34)
