I've been studying poems in English for a few months, and I realised this poem is sort of like Shining Armor and Cadence. If you don't know, the poem is about a knight who abandons his watch to pursue a mystrious lady in the woods. After the woman is done with him she abandons him leaving him to die. This woman reminded me of how Chysalis would suck the love from her victim and leave them good as dead, and since Shining Armor is part of the royal guard (a knight) it just seemed to fit. The black and white is meant to represent his cold and misrable existence while the colored videos are his flash back. La Belle Dame Sans Merci means beautiful woman without mercy in french.
