I'm back from holiday! Funny story with this piece:

I went on holiday down to South West Australia for most of the week with friends. One of them, a lovably ditzy lady, wanted to buy a 'calm music' cd. For people like me, who can make that sort of thing in their sleep, those cds ripoffs, so I told her I'd make her an ambient piece to save her money. (WE'RE JUST FRIENDS ALRIGHT JEEZ!) She's a composer/performer too, so she demanded that the chord progression be C Major to a minor.

She's not as big a fan of dissonance as I am. How unfortunate.

I also had another problem, as most of my vsts are actually on a seperate hard drive to my laptop, so I was working with less sounds. Half are presets, half are things I actually made, I will admit!

Still, I stuck a tritone at the end of the piece. She did not notice. Does that mean that I made a good piece?
