Here's another character from a franchise that I really enjoyed when I was younger: GIR, from Invader Zim. Like many effects, the GIR voice is mostly comprised of a great performance (which mine really isn't). Once you've captured that, all you need is some pitch-shifting, chorus, and distortion (and some hefty de-essing) and you've got yourself a GIR. Let me know if you have any suggestions/feedback.

FAQ:

Why does it sound different than the original?
I am not a professionally-trained voice actor like Rikki Simons (original VA of GIR). Further, I don't have as clean a falsetto as Rikki does, so my GIR sounds a bit raspy.

What did you use to make this?
You can use pretty much any DAW that allows you to pitch-shift without time-stretching, and has a basic chorus and overdrive effect.

Will you be doing a tutorial on this effect?
Yes, but it will be happening after I've finished my series on Getting a Great Vocal Sound (doot dee doo!). Trust me, it'll be MUCH easier to do special effects when you know how to make a clean vocal sound good.
