When my friend showed me Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4, I was kind of worried, because I heard that the previous ones were really creepy. But this one was actually pretty good. And it had a cool computer voice, which I attempted to recreate for you today. Enjoy!

FAQ:

Why doesn't this sound like the original?
I'm not the same person, and I'm not recording in the same room using the same mic. Further, I think this effect was made using different versions of software that I have (i.e. it was probably made with Melodyne, and I was using NewTone).

Will you be doing a tutorial on this effect?
There has been a lot of demand for one, so I've put it on my to-do list. But it's honestly not that hard. Take vocal, pitch it in Melodyne, apply a little formant shift in Melodyne, apply some slight sample rate reduction, lowpass, a little saturation, compression and EQ for cleanup, and you're golden.

What did you use to make it?
NewTone and a little bitcrushing and distortion. It's not a very intense effect.
