I don't think I will ever forget the plethora of bat ponies that came after this episode.  Also, I know it's coincidence, but there was a ton of bat ponies around Deviant Art and Equestira Daily in the months building up to this episode.  So I guess the timing was just perfect.
Skan was not happy about Flutterbat getting reverted to Fluttershy.  With the amount of mutation abuse she's taken so far this season, she's going to end up becoming the new Spike.
It was a weird feeling to be watching this and disagreeing with Fluttershy the whole time, only to turn out to be wrong at the end.  But that's the problem - I wasn't entirely wrong!
