In the United States it's once every hour.

Suicide isn't a joke. If you, or anyone you know are having thoughts of suicide, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. I included links and numbers below. They are very compassionate people who you can talk to for free. You might feel like you are better off suffering with the thoughts, or worse, dead.
