Part I: Dawn - Theme of legato http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERTurUX2Er8 Part II: Day - Theme of pizzicato http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4y-uIx1TeQo Part III: Dusk - Theme of staccato You're here! Part IV: Night - Theme of tremolo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxAkdq2GpqQ The Ponyville Cycle is my four-part series that explores a moodier, less melodic style. I am also experimenting with centering each part around a different string technique. Dusk is part three! Remember when I said that Dawn ended up strangely? Well I think this is even weirder. It was also the most difficult of this series. As it turns out, writing solely in staccato is tricky. Who would have thought? For a while I didn't have a clear concept for what I wanted to do (unlike all the others) but, fortunately, I did manage to settle on something. Enjoy! Does anyone actually read these descriptions? EDIT: Yes, they do! Thanks!
