This episode was pretty nice. Downsides: Angry Rainbow Dash was a little TOO angry for me, and the story wasn't all that great. Upsides: Tons of hilarious moments, Tank being Tank, and of course, the song! Overall, I think it's the best episode so far, maybe tied or slightly behind the season premiere.

The song is also the best so far, although there isn't much to compare it to. "In Our Town" wasn't exactly meant to be "good"; it's supposed to be an eerie song about a brain-washed town. This leaves only one other song, "Make This Castle A Home", so again, not much competition. Regardless, I think this song was pretty cool.

Transcribing it wasn't too bad. Db major is a little difficult to work with, but I got used to it after a while. The hardest part about transcribing the song was figuring out the rhythm of the melody, which tended to place notes on the off-beat.

By the way, I managed to record myself transcribing part of this song. I put in some commentary about the transcription process, and I'll be uploading that in a few hours! Finally getting around to that transcription tutorial video hahaha. It ended up being 45 minutes long, so it's going to be rather boring, but hopefully you get something out of it.
