Background Information:

Going with the flow is something we're all guilty of. Even the meanest of people can find themselves doing the things they do because they don't know how else to handle a situation. An inside look at how Babs might've been thinking throughout her first trip to Ponyville, and why she acted the way she did.

Notes:

I really wanted to get deep into the thoughts of bullies or just mean people in general. Sure, some of them are just assholes, but not all of them. Growing up in a relatively good neighborhood and being in the Gifted and Talented program, I was always sheltered and never really experienced any long term bullying. Of course there were times, but I made friends with pretty much everyone that I was ever at odds with (except for one nasty dude) due to my (it will sound like I'm bragging lol) flexible personality and understanding why people act the way they do. Even with that nasty dude, I learned that he had a situation at home and eventually just stopped interacting with him. My sister on the other hand experienced extreme bullying and had to transfer schools because of it, and I couldn't understand why she had so much trouble fitting in and making friends. Eventually, instead of teaching her how to make friends, I instead told her about how different people have different perspectives and situations that she may not know or agree with, and how to diffuse things if it ever got out of hand. Apparently it helped because instead of being bullied, now my sister is a rather popular girl who has lots of friends.

Long story short, keep an open mind about people, even if first impressions are bad.
