This is the first part that I made entirely using After Effects!! Woohoo! For once I'm a bit proud of this "achievement" of sorts, didn't think it would happen that soon. I used quite a bit of AE's capabilities for this. Making that animated effect on the edges of the pony scenes on those crystals was tricky and took a while of figuring out but it eventually worked! The crystals, by the way, are my own edits from the crystals being hanged to the Golden Oak roots in Twilight's castle, as seen in "Castle Sweet Castle".
For the last part with Pinkie, I used a new technique of animating ponies using AE, that was actually inspired by Alan's work in his "Be Free" PMV! I was very impressed but he said something like "Haha it's nothing special, just AE puppets!" and that got me thinking about trying it out and seeing what it was all about... Turns out it's something quite useful and cool!
