It was a pleasure and an honor to be able to contribute to such a wonderful PMV Collab that had the central theme of AppleDash! I gotta love it when PMV Collabs are directed with themes like that! Everypony followed the theme and the result is so lovely to watch, and full of love! Everypony's parts are amazing and I recommend watching the full thing! PMV Collabs live on!

I was very happy to follow the theme myself, being a fan of Applejack and Rainbow Dash's relationship ever since that ending scene of the S1 episode "Fall Weather Friends" that I'll never forget. I went the traditional route with some cute vectors that I liked, and then I was looking for inspiration on what to make and how to do something unique... And suddenly it was obvious: another Persona ponification!! And I realized that I never ponified the Social Link Rank Up cards flip animation from Persona 4. I did already re-create the whole animation in the past, in Silverlight using Microsoft Blend, for a personal website I did called "The Answer". Unfortunately the site is down right now because the hosting provider got shut down and I didn't bother re-hosting it somewhere else (especially considering Silverlight is somewhat deprecated now). But on my DeviantArt you can find some screenshots of the website including this cards flip animation. Anyway, I'm glad that I got to re-create it again from scratch in After Effects for this PMV Collab! And yeah, I had fun searching through my favorites on DeviantArt to find good artworks to use for the cards, hehe. I always like it when PMV editors use pony fanarts in their works because it's not common (at least in the circle of PMV editors that I know), so I thought that I'd contribute myself this time so that there's more of it, and that it could be something original for this PMV Collab. If I got at least a few people surprised with my part as they watched the full thing, then I succeeded! And as you can see I used the 6th major arcana tarot card for this Social Link... "The Lovers" ;)
