Hallo liebe Leute. Das ist das erste Mal, dass ich mich offiziell auf Deutsch melde. Anlass sind vielleicht zum einen mein Erreichen der 10000 Abonnenten, zum anderen aber auch, weil ich mich weiter ausprobieren möchte. Deutsche Popmusik ist aktuell hierzulande schwer angesagt und ich dachte mir, ich misch mal mit, vielleicht klappt's ja. Die Vocals wurden 2006 für meine Band aufgenommen, aber nie benötigt. Die Lyrics wurden von meiner Mutter geschrieben. Ich hoffe, es klingt euch nicht zu schlagerlastig. ^^'
Über ein Like und Teilen freue ich mich sehr!

ENGLISH:
This is a German song originally composed in 2006 for my former Band Pfefferminz, never published and long forgotten in my archives. Recently I found it again and thought: "Why couldn't I make a decent modern pop song our of it? After all, German lyrics are popular here again." Took me a few days but I guess it was worth it. At least I really like the result. Hope you do too.

Lyrics (translation):
The light of the moon shines through the windows
And it's quiet outside
Her heart beats loudly, she is wide awake
And finally know what she wants

No more fight, no more fear, no more games with the soul
She only seeks for harmony, had different goals...

And so she's writing this letter
And her heart aches
But her mind is sharp
Starting a new life
Doesn't know how to do it
Only knows what she wants
Wants to stay the way she really is

The past weeks float her by
heavy like grey clouds
She fought and lost
Her strength is not enough

Time will heal what hurts
She knows that too well
She wants to be strong, looks straight forward
and has yet so much courage

And so she's writing this letter...

The sadness, the loneliness, she feels childishly small
