Well it's Joker weekend and boy have people really been talking about the movie... LOL.  Society aside, it was a good movie, very character heavy and disturbing (appropriately).  I still think Dark Knight is much more fun and re-watchable though.

But hearing the old Jimmy Durante version of Smile in the trailers definitely made me want to do a cover.  So I thought to myself, "How would a song like this figure into the Batman universe?"

And then with the Birds of Prey trailer I thought of it.  This would be the kind of song Joker would use to woo Harley back after getting rough with her.  A dark concept about abusive codependency?  Yes... but it's still much less dark than the actual Joker movie... lol.
