This is a song I made from scratch last week for my Midi Compostion class. It was already completed without lyrics, but I was instructed to add lyrics to it (which I'm not the best at writing...) So, the lyrics were about me not knowing what to write about.

Yeah yeah, it's probably been done before, but psshhh as long as I got a good grade!

LYRICS:
Been trying to think of words that'll blow the class away.
But when I hit the mic, my mind just goes astray.
I'm glad these lyrics don't have to be top notch
Hot potatoes, yogurt, turkey dipped in butterscotch.

Oh wow that last line had no relevance but it rhymed
Now I gotta think of something so that I'm not wasting time
The clock is ticking and I'm pulling my hair out thinking
"I'm not a writer why do I even bother I should sit and pout."

Pony: Really? Shut up!
Me: But I suck at this!
Pony: You just wrote 2 stanzas you can do this!
Me: You're right! Thanks imaginary pony!
Pony: Anytime!

Pick up a pencil with the strength of 100 Thors!
Raise it high like a weapon of a mighty war!
Scribble down each word as I hear the choir sing for me
So much desire, I'm on fire, got my whole life on a striiiiiing!

I'm almost there, my whole body screams in bliss!
That sounded creepy, I should change that...okay what'd I miss?
Got my intro, got my chorus, still don't have a title yet.
But as I marvel at my work, all that I can say is "yes."

I've got the first half and it doesn't sound that bad
I'm actually humming it as I'm thinking of more to add.
I think there's a solo next featuring a piano synth
But just incase their isn't, I'm gonna sing one too just like (this)

This part the melody was made by me
I think it sounds really epic.
This part will overlay the chorus part
But now it's just a bridge into the next section
