So yes this is a skype call, yes the audio is a little trippy, just bare with it. Alex Voicer is an artist learning Adobe Illustrator to see if it's the right program for her ~ Here's her DA http://alexvoicer001.deviantart.com/ So basically let me review what we go over... This is Adobe Illustrator where you can vector ponies/anything else you'd like to vector. I mainly vector using the pen tool so that's what I'm teaching Alex. We go over the Shape Builder Tool where you create shapes by drawing lines over your base shape then hover over your space where it's highlighted and click. We also review Stroke Profiles and how to create a new one, which you basically use the line width tool on a basic stroke then click the "New Profile" button on your Stoke Profile Panel. Using the Line Width tool can be a little tricky, just hover over the point you wanna adjust then click and drag. When you want to move a Line Width point, hover your mouse over the middle circle where your mouse has a squiggly then click and drag to move the Line Width point along the line. We show how to do that as we create the front hoof. Yes, this video is a little long but that's because we are vectoring together while teaching. Again, I apologize for the audio quality just push through it.. We will record another one the next time I help her out, so think of these as tutorials.
