Thanks to some ideas and pointers from UnanimousDelivers, I managed to de-fuck the mask by re-creating the entire video.  Vegas was rather unstable, and I don't recommend doing this.  The project file was on the verge of overload, so less random images in the background.

Now then!  Back to working on an actual PMV, since I never ever have to mask the adorable again.
