Can you understand what's so much fun about spinning?

In this video, I try to imagine myself in the place of a boy on the autism spectrum. Using acting, voiceover, and music, I try to illustrate the inner thoughts of a boy whose actions are mysterious to most people.  

This film brings together two very different books with a similar idea. 'The Reason I Jump' is about a boy on the autism spectrum, who (in addition to jumping) has the habit of spinning himself around and around. 'The Essential Rumi' interprets poetry from the Islamic mystic Rumi, who finds spiritual bliss in the act of spinning. ​​​​​​​
