Hope you fams enjoy this one. This is as raw of a cover I could get. Sitting in front of my microphone with my guitar, and another track of audio for some extra vocals for some more accompaniment. It's very far from a perfect recording, all of the hiccups and fuck-ups are present and I'm really pleased with the roughness of it. I'll do a more processed music thing when I can save up for the equipment I need.
Was shown this song a while ago, and immediately wanted to cover it [much like a lot of other TFB songs, so expect some more of em in the future]. I learned the chords in about an hour, and practiced it for a while. Out of the blue I pulled up the lyrics on my phone and recorded some rough warmup takes before I got the final one. I'd have recorded my face alongside this, but I think I'm going to wait on doing that kind of thing for a while.
Listen through a Front Bottoms album if you're feeling emotional, angsty, and folk-punky. It's pretty fun to jam to.
