For the misunderstood... and those that misunderstood themselves...
Poem below:

It seemed like her destiny was to be known
To be praised for her beauty and put on a throne
To be better than others in all that she was
But this was not true of the filly because

She'd misunderstood the sign of her mark
And she only found out when her life became dark
All of her friends had moved on in their lives
Alone in the corner pools formed in her eyes

No one had loved her, the thought pierced her heart
She'd never had friendship, not e'en from the start
She looked at her mark, hoping that she would see
The truth about her and who she should be

With one thought to another, she found a new goal
To be friends with somepony, and fill up that hole
That was left in the deepest, lonely part of her soul


So that's what she did, though it did take some time
To make up to the ponies the weight of her crimes
But she eventually found out that her deepest desire
Was to make ponies happy, to lift their spirits higher

From then on that filly ne'er looked at her mark
Thinking all of it's secrets could only be dark
But little did she know that her mark would stay true
To the mare she'd become and the things she would do


It seemed like her destiny was to be known
To be praised for her beauty and put on a throne
To serve all the ponies with the power she had
To love and to care for all those that were sad

She was gracious and kind in the way that she ruled
Her position of power had nopony fooled
They all saw her heart through the weight of her crown
She was a merciful ruler that would not let them down

And thus is the queen of the not far tomorrow
The mare with the mark of the diamond tiara
