I've made a career through Patreon since 2013, and though I appreciate the existence of the site, what they do can be done much better and shouldn't be as challenging for them as it is (and wouldn't be if they ran a service which only considered the needs of their users). Knowing that they're kicking people for edgy content which I not only think is good and deserves to be funded by the platform, but for things that I could easily get accused of doing too, has me raring to get my New Project 2 fully operational.
