Just considering the idea is all. I doubt there would be enough interest, but figured I should make a video about it, anyway. Summer is just around the corner, and I am gearing up to start bringing Flutterbat/Fluttershy and film her! But to clarify a few points in the video: 1. At this rate, I doubt I will be able to make the 30-minute mark I promised in the trailer, but I should have enough to reach 10 minutes (I hope!). The reason for this, is each timelapse I record only adds up to about 5-7 seconds long in the film. And depending on what kind of timelapse it is, it can take HOURS to get a single clip worth only 6 seconds. Factor in how each hike may only lead to 1 timelapse total (assuming the filming conditions went right, and it wasn't ruined or messed up), it looks like it will be very difficult to even reach 10 minutes for the film. (This is assuming I only use good quality timelapse and video, though.) But I will NOT give up on this mission! The project goes on. 2. Between filming gear, time off work and school, traveling costs, fees, permits, and such, it easily reaches into the thousands of dollars each year. But it is ok, hiking is my passion anyway. But..., a little extra would go a long way to helping me produce a better quality film for all of you guys. Is this a good idea? Should I even do it? I understand I am not a big creator; and I doubt anyone would be willing to support me anyway, but just wondering is all. 3. Merch? Merch could be another way to help, but most importantly, I am wondering: Would YOU be interested in merch? While it would be for profit, that is not the goal. I am just wondering if people may be interested in film-themed merch, like calendars, signed postcards, Equestria: Into the Wild stickers, etc. Music: I Love Everything (Faulty & JoinedTheHerd Remix) Download: https://bandcamp.com/download?id=916452848&ts=1555031237.3441833242&tsig=93bbeebc538140de430a269dc3868456&type=track
