This is the spectacular hike to the alpine tundra landscape at High Camp, via the Divide Camp Trailhead on the heavily glaciated north side of Mount Adams.

-The magnificent scenery at Mount Adams, one of the "great ice-covered sentinels in the Cascade Range," rivals that of Mount Rainier, its famous neighbor to the north in size, height, and spectacular scenery. "At 12,276 feet, the volcano towers over the surrounding landscape, two miles above the valleys of southern Washington. Its massive glaciated bulk is visible from Portland and Yakima, and from the sagelands of eastern Oregon, 155 miles away.
