A sequel to the first video I made of Mount Adams, this one takes a closer look at the incredibly beautiful and world-class Bird Creek Meadows area. After the Cougar Creek Fire of 2015, much of this area has been burned, sadly. This video was all filmed before the fire. The fire grew to be larger than 70,000 acres. Even though the fire occurred, this is still a world-class hike. Only about half of the meadows burned. Out of all the hikes on Mount Adams, (and all of Washington state, even), this still ranks as one of the best and most scenic hikes I've ever done in the Pacific Northwest. In this video: •Bird Creek Meadows (~50% burned) •Bird Lake (burned) •Iceberg Lake (spared) •Crooked Creek Falls (spared) •Hellroaring Overlook (spared) Corresponding trip reports: •http://www.oregonhikers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=23499 •http://www.oregonhikers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20269
