Subscribe and get a new kidney! https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=foreverfreest Lyrics and download in the description! Hey guys! I made this one in the last few hours of 2015, and finished it just after midnight when 2016 began. It's a bit of a weird style for me, sort of varied in itself. I recorded the whole thing in Audacity, which I've never tried before because I'm not a great instrumentalist and I like looping things, and the only instruments I used in this one are my acoustic guitar and a didgeridoo I made by taping a couple of wrapping paper tubes together. This is also the first song I made using my new Yeti Blackout microphone, which has been phenomenal so far. All of the tracks in this song were recorded using the mic's stereo setting. Anyway, likecommentandsubscribe, and stick around while I get better at things! I love you guys! --Freest Lyrics: (VARIOUS VOCALIZATIONS) You who are weary and running out of places to go You who are running and tired of coming home but it's not home All of the old and the weak and the young and the strong All of the people who can't find a place to belong Find a new day Find a new place to begin Find another chance Find a source of hope again (SOME PRETTY WIZARD CHORUS WORK) I was born into a world with a chance of redemption, Exemption from following in the direction Of sheep leaping blindly off the sides of cliffs Or nodding their heads to unsurprising riffs I understood that the good that should follow our footsteps Is more than just recklessness and a hood left- Over from countless days without a sight where Sight can detect anything except a nightmare The dunk tanks and scandals, the punks and the vandals The insomniacs and the wax from the candles We handled it the best that we could, shouldn't it be A better time for all of us, unless it's an empty And vague haze, reminding us, of late days are blinding us And chasms are having a mad chance of finding us Horizons are nice for the tunnel and the train, And distract from the sadness and funnel in the rain (MORE HIGH NOTES) (GROOVY OUTRO) Download: https://foreverfreest.bandcamp.com/track/funnel-in-the-rain
