I made this particular video for a couple reasons. I found Macklemore's message to be very similar to the overall message of MLP:FIM, just more specific.

Being from Seattle like Macklemore, I also know that even though Washington State legalized same-sex marriage, there are plenty of other places where LGBT persons still do not have equal rights. Hopefully, Bronies in other states will take this message and encourage love and tolerance towards everyone, whether in the ballot box or everyday.
