The faint sounds of crowds and music grew louder and more apparent as they approached the end of the underpass. Eventually, they emerged from the tunnel and found themselves standing inside the main city square of The Colossus.

Car horns blared through the busy city as huge masses of the populace navigated the winding streets and paths. Billboards and neon signs situated against the thicket of skyscrapers and tower-blocks saturated the night sky in a union of vibrant pastels and dazzlingly vivid hues. The central road that exited from the tunnel branched off into three main streets that further diversified into avenues and lanes that were overflowing with traffic. Narrower pedestrian paths and platforms were lined with countless stores and restaurants, many of which had long lines of customers waiting to get inside.

“I’ve never once dreamed of a place this vibrant and lively before,” Princess Twilight marveled around at the city.
