Sang this alongside one of my best friends. Typically, I just call her Mom or Moon. Whatever y'all prefer. The album's opening track is also the album's most tender and vulnerable time. There are no walls or boundaries in this moment. I felt that to show this side of Rainbow Dash would allow an informed perspective at the other things she feels throughout the story. In the show, we know that she has a difficult time admitting things that she isn't ready to, even to herself. It's a pride thing. The honesty she has with herself here is meant to contrast that which comes later. I hope you enjoy this soft, introspective moment.
