In the year 2015 (precisely the 14th of this month) 100 years have passed since the death of russian composer Alexander Scriabin. I wanted to celebrate this great composer by playing some of his pieces for piano. Scriabin is one of my favorite composers, his music is so special, so mysterious that one can easily become obsessed with it. He saw colors in music, he was a late romanticist yet a great innovator, creating sounds and atmospheres never heard before. Even in his early pieces everything is so extreme so special, from the early preludes and sonatas to the symphonies and the "Mysterium", a never finished composition planned to last weeks and to be played before the end of the world. When I grow up I w-wanna be like him...
