A new face in the pony music scene, loophoof started up with a banging remix of "Flawless", and we are happy to present you their first original track "Would Stay"! Impressing with gorgeous pony vocal chops and an elaborate progression, it showcases many musical aspects harnessed by the musician and it definitely sounds very promising!

With pony-sounding synths and melodies, and a clear focus on pony vocal chops, "Would Stay" certainly delights as our musical appreciation and pony passion get united in an harmony of sounds, ravishing the soul and taking us away over the course of this beautiful tune. Happy, uplifting, and heart-warming, it creates a beacon of light all while displaying quality sound design and compositional prowess. For the backstory, the song was actually created by a "happy accident":

"I brought my laptop and a small MIDI keyboard with me to the airport (my family and I were flying to see some relatives), and kind of just out of the blue I decided to try throwing an acapella of a MLP song ["BBBFF"] into Ableton and have it slice it up so I can try playing it on my MIDI keyboard."

Then adding a loop from a sample pack (hence the name, "loophoof") and building up the song from there at every chance on the trip (like in the hotel room), the musician "finished up to the end of the first drop during that trip", and then used the newfound inspiration of summer break to finish the track and polish it with a lot of mixing work, until it became the gem that you're hearing now! Truly a stunning result of an endeavor that you can be proud of, and hopefully the first of many shining originals from loophoof! Also, despite the fact that both the show song "BBBFF" and the title of the track "Would Stay" were chosen arbitrarily, loophoof happens to have a sweet little sister:

"I heard "Would Stay" in the vocal chops and just went with that, but well I'm actually in college right now, not really close to home, and my sister and I are pretty close and whenever I'm back home my little sister would let me know how much she wishes I "would stay". So it makes me wonder if it really was arbitrary coming up with the title or some sorta unconscious Freudian slip business haha."

You could theorize about the power of the unconscious indeed, or that there may be some magic at work behind that coincidence, in any case I dedicate this sweet cover art to loophoof and his little sister!

It was actually hard finding fitting artworks of Twilight and Shining Armor to use for this video! But I'm glad that this one worked. Nothing over-the-top regarding the visuals in this one, I just added sparkling stars in the night sky of the artwork. The video still took 7 hours to render just because of that effect, so I hope some people still notice them haha!
