Meet the men and women who work every day for NATO. From soldiers to scientists, cyber experts to civilian emergency responders, NATO members are committed to supporting and protecting each other. Leading Seaman Bryan Ogle is a diver in the Canadian Navy. He wanted to discover what was underneath the surface of the ocean. In his job the community of submariners is very important, since they share their knowledge of a largely unknown and potentially dangerous environment. In short, they rely on each other to stay alive. During a NATO exercise in Turkey called Dynamic Monarch 2017, Bryan worked with professional military submariners from eight other NATO countries to practice submarine search, escape and rescue.
