31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducts amphibious assault rehearsals in preparation for Ssang Yong 2016, Dogu beach, Pohang, South Korea. Footage includes movement of landing craft air cushion (LCAC) and amphibious assault vehicles (AAV) driving onto beach and returning to the USS Ashland (LSD 48). Ssang Yong 16 familiarizes American armed forces with the Korean peninsula and builds upon the strong preexisting relationships between the militaries.
