Miley dropped her Dead Pets album a year ago midst the stories of her becoming a brony. I really liked the album with its Flaming Lips and Mike Will Made It production and erotic psychedelic pop overtones.  While a lot of people trashed it, i found a lot of the  tracks were unexpected, emotional, bold, and cool. It stuck on me. What I noticed was that buried underneath it seemed that there were the stories of the pony characters she had discovered that year. Maybe it was my imagination or maybe I saw what was buried there.  I remixed her free album with glitch effects, selective looping, and vaporwavey haze and with a different track representing a different mlp character. This was a small promo of the project which I uploaded 9 months ago but left unpublished. Rather then stick to my guns I didn't do anything with the project all this time but visit it on my ipod from time to time. Now with Prince dead (but fondly remembered) and Miley on the Voice, I wish I kinda had done what they had done; Be bold, sexy, and confident in what ya do. So now that the hype has died and the album a forgotten footnote here's a peek at my version of an album that deserves a second glance (and maybe an outside editor). More to come.... maybe.
