Ok this remix was my first Toastbeard entry and is based on a few converging thoughts and their topic of the week (beginnings and ends). Two "the end is near" postings
(one on MLR http://mylittleremix.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1144 and another on Pony Confessions http://ponyconfessions.tumblr.com/post/14902474472/some-bronies-dont-like-what-other-bronies-are and listening to Tarby's "We Are the End" which is so powerful an instrumental that it seemed to need words. I channeled these posts into "lyrics" (just spoken directly from their posts, i can't sing). It's not meant to preachy but I think a track that makes you think about what we're capable of losing is a good thing. I put it all together in mostly one day but I've made some after the fact re-mastering to fix the vocals and EQ and a few other smaller issues (still not perfect but much better). Again without Tarby's track (which was amazing before I glitched it), without people starting these conversations, and without blogs like the Pony Confessions for giving people a voice (all the video artwork is from there) this wouldn't be possible. I love the brony community (even the really weird elements, within moderation and consideration for other's eyes + minds) so I hate to see it have such turmoil occur due to a lack of foresight. I hope that 2012 comes with a bit less drama and a little bit more love and understanding. If there's elements of the community you don't like, steer clear, and stay within the places that make you happy (and don't hate on your fellow brony).
