As Alvysinger's Bandcamp page describes the project's sound as "80's neo-acoustic and more, it's very smooth", Koushi Ono who helms the project becomes one of the first few Japanese musicians in the style to specifically embrace the term for himself and his music, at least as far as I can find. His origins in the neo-acoustic guitar pop scene date back to the mid-1990s with a band called The Time Capsules that were directly influenced by early neo-acoustic band Johnny Dee, and this newer project of his owes no less to the earlier sound despite its better production values. His first album Love was released in 2012 and he continues to make music, as well as working with the blue-very label in 2019 on at least one reissue of an early Japanese neo-acoustic band, The Korova Milk Bar.
