This little medley, adapting the Irving Berlin jazz standard "Puttin' on the Ritz" and "At the Gala" from the FiM episode "The Best Night Ever," was created for DustCar 30. As usual, it has been edited a bit from the first airing. 

The prompt for DustCar 30 was "Non-Pony Pony Covers," for which I chose to arrange "Puttin' on the Ritz" based on one of the first PMVs I saw, a video juxtaposing Taco's arrangement of the tune with scenes from "The Best Night Ever." Being the traditionalist I am, I opted for a more jazz piano rendition.

As an aside, RIP Stephen Sondheim, whose "Ever After" from Into the Woods inspired "At the Gala" to begin with.
