I know it's been a while since I've done an actual parody, but after someone suggested that they wanted to hear "Clarity" from me, my mind began turning.
After literal months attempting to think of something appropriate, I decided to try and work at the parody again (after some nudging from a few friends ;D)
So here we have, "True Rarity", a piece dedicated to the sometimes fine line that exists between having friends who love you for your talent or love you for you.
I feel like Rarity would have one of the biggest problems with this, considering she makes dresses, works of art, and her generosity can get the better of her. I've delt with
this in my life as well, having friends who ask me to do this, draw that, sing this--whatever it is--and it's hard to refuse. The emotion and meaning behind this song is that Rarity is going through
these same uncertain emotions. Do the others truly care for her? Is she really so special that if she wasn't talented, they'd remain friends?

Of course this is all hypothetical and it's obvious the rest of the mane 6 love her, but it seemed to work well with the song.
It also only worked well with the piano version and NOT the heavy electronia version. Not that I don't like that one, but it just didn't fit for the emotion in the song.
