I know they'll probably never bring it up again but it's nice that they finally acknowledged it and still hasn't ruined the head canon of their past. 

Oh and yeah the episode was pretty great too. Personally loved it because Discord.. as Discord.

Yeah. He's amazing. Third favorite character. This ship is probably my second favorite MLP ship after AppleDash and Twixie. (yes those two count as one) Take that as you will.
