Hiya! I hope you’re all keeping safe out there. Today I bring you a bold and ambitious project, from the inner workings of the mind of G.M. Blackjack, author of Songs of the Spheres. G.M. has begun releasing a new story, The Distant Princess, the first installment of a new mega crossover series titled Synthesis—about the worlds from several different cartoons weaved together as if they had always been one. The various series featured in this story, as well as this song, include Adventure Time, My Little Pony, Steven Universe, Samurai Jack, Infinity Train, Gravity Falls, and Wander Over Yonder. I’ve worked with G.M. to create a theme song of sorts; a medley to bridge music from all of these series together. It’s been one of my greatest challenges yet, even going so far as to break new ground with my first attempt at including electronica elements. I had so much fun writing it, and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it too!
