This PMV was developed by joining 2 requests together.
" antonio placzkowski " requested a Candy Mare tribute, and
" Logan Blackrose " asked for a Pinkamena Always Running tribute. 
While I didn't use Pinkamena for the song as they wanted; I thought it sounded much more fitting with Candy Mare and I've already done enough Pinkamena tributes as is :P

On a more video-related note; I've never read Candy Mare; I just know what I've seen in her artwork. So, I took the liberty of devising my own brief backstory for her that I could use in the video:
She's a powerful Unicorn who cast a spell of immortality which cost her, her own horn. Catch is; her body continues to rot, even though she can not die, and to sustain herself she must absorb/eat other ponies. 
This next part may be canon to her, but I think it would be freaking awesome if it were in her original story:
Every time she absorbs a new pony she evolves and changes form; like your classic B-horror flick monster. I only think this is true because of how varied her artwork is; it seems like she has several different forms/stages even if the variety is just artistic interpretations.
