After so much time living as a normal pony, a changeling can run the risk of forgetting who he really is. Sure, a changeling will always be a changeling, but must every changeling think the same? Is there no escape from the hive mentality? What started as research- reconnaissance even- has slowly turned into a way of life, and now this changeling's new home is threatened by his old.

Is it possible to live as someone you are not, yet that facade be who you really are?
