Glad to see you again, guys! Indeed, I bring you a new track. But not ANY kind of track... a VOCAL track. What? Me, making a vocal track? Yep. And actually, this is my first vocal track EVER. The idea came some months ago (I don't really remember when it was), when I was talking to the amazing composer NomNom. You may know him- if not, be SURE to check his music, I'll add a link at the bottom of the description. Anyway, I was talking to him, and he offered me to use his voice for a vocal track. I LOVED the idea, but because of college, the fact that I never wrote a lyric before, and the lack of inspiration for it, I decided to put the project on hold, until it was the right time. And then, February came... and I finally decided to start composing the track. I sat down, inspired by some scenes in my mind about Spike, and wrote the lyrics. Then, I started composing, and after a few days, the track was finished. I sent the sheet music to NomNom, and when he got a little free time, he recorded the track... and now, it's finally done. The lyrics talk, indeed, about Spike. Nevertheless, I won't explain any farther about it: as I always say, music is a 50-50 expression. Half of the message is expressed by me, but the other half comes from the listener's interpretation, and I think there are no wrong interpretations. I really hope you can decipher your own meaning of the lyrics, and enjoy them. I really enjoyed writing them. :) Needless to say, this was a HUGE step for me. I never wrote a lyric before (although I've written many poems and texts), and I never composed a vocal track. And it was not only that, but to work together with an amazing guy like NomNom. It was great, and I'm really glad to have taken this opportunity. I really hope you guys enjoy it, and who knows, there might be more vocal tracks in the future! Thank a lot for your time. And lastly, a few words from NomNom: "Pardon the errors you guys might hear, I wish I could have really done a better job, but I was indeed a little bit sick while recording this! I hope my sickness compensated for at least a little bit of a decent recording! xP ALSO I LIEK PONEHS" Enjoy! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [LYRICS] Stars gaze upon me, neverending silence, traveling through eternity, by my side, a long forgotten tale, waking up in a winter morning. Recover, united, the memories in my dreams, sleeping, uncovered, dreaming alone, I met myself in here... Breaking through silence, arise in the light, your soul, your eyes, a sister's smile. Through time, a white bind, a long dirty road, wish for the day we'll cry. Stars gaze upon me, neverending silence, forgive me, my Twilight. Through life, through time, the sunlight and the snow, walking alone, the skies of our home. Days have passed by, and I am still the same, but my heart beats no more. Stars gaze upon me, neverending silence, traveling through eternity, by my side, a long forgotten tale, waking up in a winter morning. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instrumental Version Download (MP3): http://www.mediafire.com/?qd9zaieq54z5h8e Check out NomNom's channel! http://www.youtube.com/user/APillowInSpace I'm a composition student, and I plan to make a living out of my music. :) Hence, I'd really appreciate your support by buying the album (or just the track).
