This song is the main reason I was originally thinking Fluttershy for this role. It wasn't just that she actually did sing a lullaby to the CMC, (though that was a big factor), it was mainly how much I could just SEE Fluttershy singing this. It just sounds like something right up her ally. Still, Rarity has become a lot nicer as the series has progressed and I still like how she fits.

No, the real question is why did I pick Applebloom for Michael? She has only one scene in the entire series where she's tired/asleep. Scootaloo had a whole episode I could have plumbed for scenes! Guess I can't think of everything...
