Magical Pony Theatre 3000 is a cute tongue-in-cheek pony spinoff of the MST3K series. Four pals fall for a crazy scheme employed by Luna over a disagreement regarding the precise definition of friendship with her sister. As a result, the snarky quartet are catapulted into a space station where they are forced to survive horrifically mind-straining movies with their devious quips, effectively bonding and strengthening their friendship. It is a matter of watching and waiting to see if they can escape before the lunatic proves her point or refutes it inadvertently and thus wins her bet against Celestia as the ruler during the ponies' phase of activity.

The first episode is always the simplest and most straightforward. It features an old and silly 1940s classic called "Let Yourself Go," a venture into the icy stares of professional psychologists and the slackjaw horde of the relaxed. Such a boring movie is sure to test the strengths of the jokers' tenacity into submission!
