Duhad: Short answer: Overall I thought that Double Rainboom was overall an admirable piece of work let down
main by its hype. It also seemed to be fairly confused by what it was, not helped by problems
in both the writting and directly.

Cabral0595: It has its flaws but is still very much enjoyable

Lightning: As much as I slated it the episode I actually thought it wasn't that bad considering it was a fan work, however another thing I wanted to note which will sound quite harsh but I feel I need to say it; I found there was barely any real creative flare in the whole production, if I can explain, everything in there is kind of just a copy and paste from the show, I realize this sounds harsh and sometimes this isn't a bad thing since when working on a production team I'd imagine you'd need to copy the style exactly. However here this was supposed to showcase this gentlemen's talent and everything has been seen before, including the rainbow fire trail which at first I believed was an amazing feat of animation on their part but was actually in the episode 'may the best win' which completely changed my view on it to just another well copied piece of animation which was in my eyes another unneeded reference (to back to the future). Not to say there were no well animated creative moments, one very good creative feature would be the mini pony scene where twilight explains the effects of the potion. And of course all of this doesn't mean the animation wasn't spot on which for the most part it was. The parts where humor wasn't forced were also genuinely funny in that show style make you giggle type way.
