I, like many others, was deeply touched by this take on Pinkie Pie's cutie mark story. I wanted to animate it the moment I heard the song the artist linked in the description. A comic about ponies led me to reflect on the people I've lost in my own life, and I think it touched other bronies and pegasises in much the same way.

The song's name is Soon You'll Come Home; it is from the All Dogs Go To Heaven soundtrack.

To provide a bit of context for the curious: The blue pony in the video is said by the artist to be Pinkie Pie's twin sister in this interpretation.
