So, my first pony animation (that's not a GIF). Disclaimer: it's pretty bad. Problem is I'm still trying to figure out the best approach to these sort of things & I'm still pretty new to animation. I guess we've all got to start somewhere though, right? I think I've discovered that After Effects is not the way to go, and that I really need to learn Flash. So before I go any further I will teach myself that. Problems with AE are numerous - but the worst is there's no way to draw within the program - which means switching over to Photoshop pretty frequently. My laptop just can't handle the large files - so I ended up cutting corners and reusing scenes/files just so I didn't have to switch between programs. After Effects won't even open anymore, and I'm so sick of this project that I decided to upload it as is... Excuses made... this is based off the great Spaghetti Western films - in particular 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' which just happens to be one of my favourite films ever. A crossover needed to happen; I'm just disappointed I couldn't have done it better justice. So yeah, maybe I'll revisit this later once I've worked out the kinks in my method... and that involves starting from scratch - so definately no time soon.
